Background
Madina graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Law University, faculty of International Law. She studied in summer school of Duke Law School, Fukuoka, Japan in 2003 and participated in number of trainings and workshops on legal and business skills.

Experience
Madina has 9-years work experience that includes consulting of international oil &gas and service companies on broad range of issues. Madina specializes in areas of natural resources, corporate law, investment law, and labor law. Being partner in local law firm, she has been advising a wide range of the largest international corporations in drafting shareholders agreements, contracts and legal servicing of investment projects in the spheres of oil and gas industry, on the issues of project financing, corporate mergers and acquisitions etc. Madina also was a head of legal department in operating company for major offshore oilfield in Kazakhstan.
Combination of experience of in-house lawyer in international oil-and-gas project and work experience in law firm allows her to understand deeply commercial peculiarity of clients business and to satisfy needs of clients on high professional level.
Madina has gained her experience by participation and leading the following projects (some practice examples): consulting and legal advice on issues of a non-resident-E&P- company listing at KASE; consulting on issues of obtaining a syndicated loan from Development Bank of Kazakhstan and EABR required for financing construction of the hydroelectric power station; structuring a transaction on project of constructing cement production plants in Almaty and South-Kazakhstan Regions, including preparation of shareholders agreement in joint venture with companies from Kazakhstan, Italy and Turkey and consulting on shareholders agreement signing issues; managing Due Diligence project for Shymkent Cement production plant; representing interests and providing full support in pre-trial and judicial proceedings concerning settlement of disputable matter with regard to obtaining the right for subsurface use in a daughter company of the largest mining and processing non-ferrous metals holding in Kazakhstan; consulting and representing interests of the largest coal mining company concerning the issues of obtaining licenses and coordination in Anti-Monopoly Committee and Financial Market Regulation Agency; consulting and representing interests of the largest oil and gas producing company with the oil field located in Aktobe region as to the issues of obtaining waiver from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in order to further purchasing a share of the mentioned company.
Last two years Madina advised several M&A projects, including one of the biggest M&A where Madina was part of the team for preparation and implementation of an IPO: from structuring the M&A transaction to 100% share sale of public E&P company (appr.USD 515 mln).
Madina actively cooperates with international law firms and leading international banks. Madina takes part in annual seminars, exhibitions and conferences passing in Republic of Kazakhstan as well as abroad.
Madina has published number of articles on corporate law and on tendencies of the development of legal consulting.
Madina speaks fluent Russian, Kazakh and English languages.
